I did this as a portfolio piece since I want to work for companies that do fantasy role-play. This would be in the book as a demonstration of character classes/occupations

Pages from my well-traveled sketchbook

Did these sketches of a nice couple I met earlier in the year when I was in Bali. They really loved the sketches and asked me to send them a copy once I got home. But, life got busy and before I knew it, many months had gone by. So I finally got them sent, but not before adding a nice sepia tone and more of a paper texture to the background in Photoshop. I really kind of like how they came out and am tempted to do this treatment to some of my better sketchbook entries.

Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!

I'm currently working on a collection of images which I hope to produce as a calender. I intended this design to be for 'April' but I suppose it could also be used for 'May'..?

Raphael by Meghann Pardee

Done for's Character of the Week competition. The theme was Archangels, showing both their warrior and healing aspects.
I chose Raphael, who is the protector of travelers, shepherds, the mentally ill, the blind, and healer of the sick.
