New(ish) Work...

I have been meaning to produce this simple image for a long time; I found the rough sketch the other day, buried deep in one of my sketchbooks. The drawing was made whilst on a train going through the Cambridgeshire Fens several years ago. The contrasting pattern of the ploughed soil with the patchwork of fields in the distance, really appealed to me. I hope you like the resulting artwork...

Andy Robert Davies – The Serco/Association Of Illustrators River Thames Competition

My entry for the Serco/Association Of Illustrators River Thames Competition has been shortlisted and will soon be exhibited at the London Transport Museum. The brief was to celebrate the river and to show the wide variety of activities that take place on and around it. As someone who loves walking the Thames Path, I felt I had to highlight this way of seeing the city.
